We love the friendly Canadian people. We've been here in 2002, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2011 we chartered boats in Georgian Bay and saw almost two dozen difficult to see lighthouses. Then in 2012, we shared charters with 3 others to see 14 of the difficult to reach off-shore lighthouses of Lake Superior.
The Welcome to Ontario sign was on Route 69 in Huron, MI as we crossed the border into Point Edward, Ontario. Shot taken on August 7, 2009. The Welcome to Thunder Bay sign was on Highway 17 westbound. King's Highway 17 is 1,220.4 miles long and it's Ontario's longest highway. I took this shot on July 17, 2012.
